I want to let you know what a great job Lisa Borkowski did in the most difficult listing and closing I have encountered. From the first viewing and offer with my client, the broker would tell me he could not get in touch with the owner to present my client’s offer on numerous occasions.

Rick Obey Brokerage then became the listing agency. As we were negotiating our offer, it would be null and void as they would exceed the contract dates. They told me it was a complicated deal with legal issues.

The owner of the vessel owed an Attorney money and gave the Attorney the vessel for payment. The vessel remained in the owners name and the Attorney made himself Power Of Attorney.

A confused deal and made harder as it seemed the listing side may have been hesitant or unable to approach the Attorney. They told me they would need a week or longer to get the information I needed.

I knew Lisa was extremely busy and asked her if I should get another closing agent. I explained the situation to her. She knew the difficulty involved and stated she would handle the closing to make sure our client’s closing was done correctly.

She then obtained the Attorneys information from the listing agency, contacted him direct and we were ready to close in twenty four hours. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and definitely an asset to our Denison Team!
