Mike Harvey – Florida Yacht Broker

Mike Harvey’s more than 45 years in the yachting industry began in 1964 with eight years in the United States Coast Guard. He served on the Bearing Sea, spent a year in Vietnam aboard an 82′ Cutter out of the Mekong Delta and worked Search and Rescue on a 95′ Cutter, The Cape Shoalwater, here in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for three years.

After his time in the Coast Guard, he Captained crew boats in the Gulf of Mexico and delivered yachts.

Harvey moved into sales working for Gulf Radio Telephone & Electronics in Houston, Texas designing and selling the electronics equipment systems for the offshore oil rigs and commercial vessels in the Gulf.

Harvey owned and operated a gourmet coffee roasting plant in Delray Beach, Florida for the last ten years but now has returned to his true loves, the sea and yachting.
