1.   PCC Natural Market – Fremont

Healthy? Sure. Delicious and fresh? You bet! PCC Market, the local “Whole Foods” of the Pacific Northwest, has amazing deli lunch options, all for a very reasonable price. Try it: Broccoli and Cheese Risotto Cakes, Apple Quinoa salad with Curry Dressing, Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps.

2.    Blue Water Taco Grill

Who says Seattle does not have good Mexican food? Just ask this veteran of the Los Angeles and Tijuana food scene: this place is the real thing, and the burritos and tacos are chock full of juicy “camarones” and other delicious local seafood. Bonus points if you can order “en Espanol”.

3.    Paseo – Cuban Sandwiches

“It’s just a meat sandwich!” – but if you’ve seen the movie ‘Chef’, been to Miami or better yet, to Cuba, then you know that a good Cuban sandwich is a thing to be treasured. Well, as over 3,000 Yelp reviewers might tell you, this is one of the best Cuban sandwiches you’ll ever have. Now try to show up just before lunchtime, because the line comes out of the store.

4.    Citizen Crepe

A real creperie that has amazing savory or sweet crepes, and still nails that Seattle cup of coffee. You’ll love the location, encased in red brick, with aged wood benches, it’s got a very cozy feel.

7.    The Pink Door
