Testimonials

“Chris handled all of the details with confidence and determination.”

With trepidations, we adventured into the market of selling our existing boat and purchasing a newer and larger boat. We had the unique experience of meeting Chris Ollis of Denison Yacht Sales in Charleston. From our first contact with Chris to the final delivery of our new boat, Chris handled all of the details with confidence and determination.

We first met Chris to view a listing of a boat that we might consider.  After an extended lunch where we expressed our concerns about moving from a smaller boat to a larger boat, we were confident that Chris could handle the process. We were concerned with the time it would take to sell our current boat and purchasing a newer boat without losing the entire boating season.

Chris went to work; he appraised, photographed and listed our current boat, handled the buyer inquires, and located a buyer in a very short time.  He continued to manage the process to have our boat surveyed, negotiated the price, provided all the paperwork and closed the sale.

Within two months, Chris had searched the national market and found us a boat that met our requirements.  He supervised the entire process of surveying, sea trails, negotiating our offer and handled the documentation to complete our purchase.  He also arranged for the transportation of the new purchase to our port while we were out of the country.

His determination to exceed our expectations was an experience that we had hoped for and Chris truly delivered.  It was a delightful experience and Chris Ollis has become a true friend that we will highly recommend to anyone interested in expert personal brokerage service for a yacht transaction.
