80 Azimut Carat Sold by Yacht Broker David Johnson

David Johnson, a licensed superyacht broker at Denison, recently closed the deal on a 2003 80’ Azimut Carat named Hiatus. The fully-loaded yacht was recently serviced and upgraded with new Garmin navigation, Samsung cameras, VHF radio, and Bose surround sound.

A 1700-hour MTU factory service on the engine was performed as well as service on cooling systems and heating exchangers in June 2015, in addition to new bottom paint, new teak on platform and flybridge steps, and new hingeware on gunwale boarding.

The yacht was sold in Miami to an American buyer who has plans to cruise Florida, the Bahamas, and New England. “He loves it, and already completed a week in the Bahamas with his family,” said Johnson.

David has over 15 years of experience in the Super Yacht industry and over a decade of experience as a mega yacht captain. He is very knowledge with brokering sales in Europe and Latin America.
