Denison Sponsors 2016 Tobi Kuroshio Cup in Japan

Denison was proud to sponsor the 6th annual Sea Tiger 2016 Tobi Kuroshio Cup this past weekend in Osaka, Japan. 

First prize went to Team Bakaretta, and 2nd place went to Team Fine. Denison yacht brokers Ned Bruck and Drew Offerdahl represented Denison, and Drew also shot drone video of the marlin fishing tournament. 

Forty-two boats competed in the tournament. Ned also will be participating in the Japanese International Billfish Tournament later this week in Shimoda with 147 boats, making it the largest tournament in Japan. He will be fishing a 54′ Bertram with Masatoshi Kobayashi, who he first met 15 years ago.

Denison has delivered dozens of yachts to Japan and looks forward to continuing to grow there. Other sponsors of the tournament, which was hosted in partnership with Tobi Marine, include Admiral Canvas, Stebel and Apex Marine.
