Denison Onboard at Nantucket Race Week Festivities

Nantucket Race Week is nine days of regattas, awards ceremonies, and parties hosted by Nantucket Yacht Club and Great Harbor Yacht Club to benefit Nantucket Community Sailing, and this year Denison is excited to sponsor the festivities.

Stop by and say hi to the Denison team, including New England Yacht Brokers Ted Lahey, Sarah Strauch and Jackie Guenther, at the Sailors Picnic at the Great Harbor Yacht Club. The picnic and awards dinner is a really fun event with music, a Tito’s bar, a Gosling’s bar and over 200 attendees.

Saturday, join them at the Sponsor’s Party aboard a yacht in the Classic Yacht Exhibition along the docks of the Nantucket Boat Basin. 

The 45th Opera House Cup Regatta takes place Sunday, August 20. The Opera House Cup Regatta was the first all-wooden, single-hulled classic boat regatta on the East Coast, and attracts some of the finest sailboats in the world. The Opera House Cup is part of the North American Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge.

The Opera House Cup Regatta, which is held on the third Sunday of every August on Nantucket, is the grand finale of Nantucket Race Week, and the events culminate Sunday night with the Opera House Cup Awards Dinner, which attracts over 500 attendees, at Jetties Beach.
