Yachts for sale at the 2023 Miami International Boat Show [In the News]

The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show will be returning this year for five days from 15 -19 February with some of the biggest names in yachting. Historically two separate shows, the Miami International Boat Show and Miami Yacht Show have joined forces once again following the success of last year’s joint display. Here are some of the yachts not to be missed in the sunshine state next week…

AHPO

115m Lürssen superyacht Ahpo Miami International Boat Show

At 115.1 metres, Lürssen‘s AHPO is the largest superyacht lined up to attend this year’s Miami Boat Show. Having recently joined the brokerage market as the most expensive yacht currently for sale, she is sure to be the star of the show. Nuvolari Lenard created her distinctive exterior with trademark half-moon windows and a jet-black mast. Highlights include a vast wellness centre themed around nature, a cinema and a commercially-certified helipad supporting a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter. She can sleep a total of 18 guests, with a duplex master suite, and is serviced by a crew of 36. AHPO isasking €330,000,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship.

KISMET

95.2m Lürssen superyacht KISMET Miami International Boat Show

The 95-metre KISMET is just one of three Lürssen builds on the hunt for a new owner and en route to Miami. The brief was for a ‘caviar and champagne’ superyacht, which was achieved using a jet-black mast, golden hull and bejewelled interior. KISMET features exterior styling by Espen Øino and an interior from Reymond Langton Design with five decks, two helipads and an Art Deco chandelier weighing 350 kilograms. The yacht is currently asking €169,000,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship.

STEP ONE

55m Amels Superyacht STEP ONE Miami International Boat Show

Dutch shipyard Amels teamed up with legendary superyacht designer Tim Heywood to create the first delivery in the yard’s highly successful 180 Limited Editions series. STEP ONE features a custom interior by Laura Sessa and recently underwent a $2.5 million refit that has left the 55-metre motor yacht in prime condition. Sheis listed for sale with Y.CO and Inigo Nicholson Yachts at $33,700,000.

MARGUERITE

61m Lürssen Superyacht MARGUERITE Miami International Boat Show

Delivered in 2004, the 61-metre motor yacht from Lürssen has sailed under past names AvantiAurora and Phoenix but was rechristened MARGUERITE under new ownership in 2022. The yacht features exterior and interior styling from Winch Design and was recently on display at both the Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. MARGUERITE is currently listed for sale with Moran Yacht & Ship for an asking price of $48,000,000. 

NO TIME TO DIE

26.8m Sanlorenzo superyacht NO TIME TO DIE Miami International Boat Show

Delivered as Dynasty, the 26.8-metre yacht from Sanlorenzo changed its name to the eponymous James Bond title just ahead of the film’s 2021 release. The Sanlorenzo SX88 is designed as a crossover between a compact explorer yacht and a flybridge yacht. Highlights include an open transom with a 30-square-metre bathing platform and a concealed davit crane integrated into the hull. Accommodation is for as many as eight guests. NO TIME TO DIE is currently asking $6,990,000 with The Italian Yacht Group. 

PICCOLO

38m Alpha Yachts Piccolo Miami International Boat Show

Built in Turkey by Alpha Custom Yachts, the 38-metre PICCOLO is one of two Alfresco 125 models alongside sistership DRAKO. Both the exterior and interior of the vessel were designed by H2 Yacht Design with onboard highlights including a heated plunge pool, sheltered outdoor dining and accommodations for 12 guests. PICCOLO is currently listed for sale with Dension Yachting for an asking price of $10,500,000. 

SEA CLASS

139' Abeking & Rasmussen SEA CLASS

Originally delivered in 1985, Abeking & Rasmussen‘s SEA CLASS underwent an extensive refit valued at $13,000,00 in 2009, which included an extension of the hull. The yacht has previously cruised under the names Dale R II and No Buoys before being rechristened in June 2022 under new ownership. The exterior was designed by Tom Fexas while the interior was completed by Orsini Design Associates. Accommodations are for eight across a master suite, one double and two twin cabins. SEA CLASS recently rejoined the sales market and is asking $6,495,000 with Denison Yachting.

STEALTH

46m Palmer Johnson STEALTH Miami International Boat Show

Palmer Johnson delivered the 45.7-metre STEALTH in 2010 as the seventh hull in its 150 SportYacht series. Her striking exterior profile is owing to the design talents of Nuvolari Lenard, who also designed the interior. The yacht recently emerged from a refit in 2022 with fresh furnishings, mechanical upgrades, state-of-the-art entertainment systems and a full repaint. A spacious flybridge houses a jacuzzi, full wet bar, barbeque and multiple lounge spaces. Elsewhere, twelve guests can be accommodated in five spacious cabins including a full-beam master suite. STEALTH is currently listed for sale with Burgess asking $13,450,000 (VAT paid).

XWAVE

32m Sanlorenzo XWAVE Miami International Boat Show

The 32.2-metre XWAVE has been used privately over the last few years. Delivered in 2019 by Sanlorenzo, she features an exterior design by Francesco Pazkowski and a light and vibrant contemporary interior by Marty Lowe. The planning motor yacht was built entirely in GRP to RINA classification and can reach impressive speeds of up to 28 knots. Her entertaining spaces are enveloped in large picture windows and fold-down balconies while accommodation for 10 guests comprises an owner’s suite with forward-facing windows and four well-appointed guest cabins on the lower deck. The yacht is currently asking $9,750,000 (US duty paid) with Burgess.

AUSSIE RULES

AUSSIE RULES has a whopping top speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots, allowing this 28-metre sportfishing yacht to provide the perfect platform for competitive fishing and high-class entertaining. Delivered in 2019 by Viking Yachts as the shipyard’s flagship model, this Viking 92 Enclosed Bridge Seakeeper features a teak-decked fishing cockpit and fighting chair, while a second helm station on the flybridge is fitted with outriggers and rod holders. Inside, guests can dine on fresh catch of the day at a large sit-up breakfast bar and eat-in galley. AUSSIE RULES is currently asking $9,950,000 and is listed with Burgess.
