As a Denison yacht broker, you become part of a respected network of industry leaders. Becoming a member of the Denison Yacht Sales team of skilled professionals has many advantages. Below are a few of them.
At the moment, Denison is only accepting applications from yachting professionals with over 2 years sales experience. If you’d like to find out if you would be a good fit with our team, contact Bob Denison for a confidential phone call.
Denison Yacht Sales offers true yacht broker support. From listing support, to closing assistance, Denison brokers are well-taken care of. Never worry about paying for business cards, copies, printing, and signage.
Denison is committed to providing you with assistance at every level. Equipped with a full-time receptionist, a marketing department, and a sales manager, you’ll be working with a team of yachting professionals that are serious about getting deals done the right way.
You’ll never have to worry about competing with your boss again. Bob Denison, President and Principal Owner of Denison Yacht Sales, focuses his attention on managing and marketing, allowing you the peace of mind to know you’ll never have to compete for a listing or a client with the same guy that runs the place.
Owners of yacht brokerage firms have a distinct selling advantage, especially those with their names on the door. Unlike other firms, the owners will never compete with you for a listing or client, giving you freedom to pursue more prospects. Furthermore, all leads directed to Kit and Bob Denison are distributed to the Sales Team.
The ownership feels strongly that this approach provides better marketing, broker support, and equity for all members of the Denison team.
Yacht brokers at Denison have the ability to get deals done. You will be treated as a business owner, with the right to make closings happen. No need to delay a transaction while you wait for approval from management. Strike while the iron is hot, use your best judgement, and make everyone happy by making a deal happen.
Yacht brokers at Denison enjoy a steady stream of leads. The point of our marketing is to get the phone to ring for you. Denison ownership is committed to reinvesting earning into the company, allowing a stable company with a long-term, and aggressive marketing approach.

Denison ownership works hard to produce creative, consistent and effective marketing programs. Of course, the point of marketing is to create opportunities for Denison brokers to meet new clients.
Denison’s broad marketing approach includes strategies in the following marketing channels:
Over the last 5 years Denison has participated at the following international, and local Boat Shows:
With family roots in the yachting industry running 60 years deep, you can be well-assured when you are doing business with Denison Yacht Sales, you’re doing business with a firm that plans on staying around.
The Denison family first entered the yachting industry when Frank Denison founded Broward Marine in 1948. Within 10 years Broward Marine became the largest employer in Broward County, Florida, and quickly opened up another shipyard in Saugatuck, Michigan.
For the last half of the 20th Century, Broward Marine constructed more luxury yachts over 60′ than any other yacht manufacturer in the world. Shortly after Frank sold the family business in 1999, Frank’s grandson, Bob Denison took over the helms of the family’s brokerage company, Denison Yacht Sales.
Middle management sucks. As a Denison Yacht Sales broker you won’t need to hassle with multiple levels of management, annoying office politics, or delays associated with several layers of bosses. Denison brokers enjoy clearly defined roles, easy closing processes, and direct contact with ownership.
As a new boat dealer, Denison Yacht Sales enjoys the benefits of representing several new boat lines, including: Beneteau Swift Trawlers, Beneteau Flyer G.T.s, Beneteau Barracuda, Cantiere delle Marche, Contender Boats, Greenline Hybrid, Fountaine Pajot, Mondo Marine, Monte Carlo Yachts, Privilege Marine, Dufour Yachts, and Pirelli Yacht Tenders.
As a Denison broker, you can take advantage of Denison’s competitive advantages, including our ability to take in trades, proprietary marketing solutions, international advertising, and other confidential strategies that are unique to Denison Yacht Sales.
Corporate Values & Company Culture is important. Denison Yacht Sales carefully chooses brokers that are a good fit with our current team and culture. Denison’s culture tends to attract yacht brokers that are inherently honest, easy to work with, humble, and trusting. Denison strongly believes nice people working together dramatically improves quality of life, and reduces stress and drama in the office.
Denison recognizes that marketing – no matter how good it might be – only provides a portion of yacht brokerage activity. Most yacht owners make their buying or selling decision based on the person, not the firm. Its the countless hours of research, honest conversation, and advice rooted in integrity that builds trust with a yacht owner, not the pretty logo on your shirt.
Many closings will be a direct result of your hard work and personal investments you’ve made with faithful clients over the years. Denison provides a simple and fair commission structure to reward you for your years of dedication with existing clients. This commission structure applies to all closings generated that are independent of Denison marketing – even applying to new clients you meet on the docks, and referrals from friends and existing clients.

“Andrew Parkinson was the key ingredient in our purchase of a Grand Banks 36. His attention to detail, his follow-through, and advice in negotiations were always on target and made the yacht-buying process exceptionally smooth and enjoyable. You can count on Andrew to look out for your interests and to work amicably and effectively with other yacht brokers if they are involved in your purchase or sale. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.”… [read more]
