Description & History: 

This classic yacht was originally owned by the famous Abner E. "Abby" Singer. Abby was an American production manager and assistant director between the 1950s and the 1980s. His name has become famous in Hollywood as a phrase describing the second-to-last shot of the day as the "Abby Singer". 

The current owner has completely restored this timeless vessel to show room condition. He planned to live-aboard part time and cruise her locally. His plans have now changed and he needs to sell. “Abby Singer” is truly gorgeous throughout and not a single expense was spared in the refit.

• All new paint through out the exterior; decks, hull, upper hull, hard top ceilings, and the helm area. Hull was painted classic “Hatteras White” (sand color)
• New aft deck carpet and matching lounge furniture on sun deck
• New Isinglass windows with black canvas trim on sun deck
• Helms seats were reupholstered
• All metal window frames were repainted and two new curved front Plexy windows were added as well as 2 new forward glass windows
• Wood railing varnished with 2 new coats
• New privacy mesh front window cover added
• Boarding ladder was completely striped and re-varnished with all metal fixtures re-chromed
• Swim Step was removed and replaced with new bolts and metal supports by The BoatYard Nov. 2016

• X2 new electric toilets with new holding tanks (20 gal & 30 gal)
• New West Marine 5 gallon water heater added
• Both forward and aft cabin heads were repainted and a new sump pump was added to the aft shower
• New stainless sinks and faucets in both heads and the kitchen were added along with all new drain hoses and clamps
• New White Carrera marble counter tops added to kitchen and both heads around the sinks
• The traditional aft cabin port side single bed was changed to a queen size with a brand new mattress
• All interior wood was striped, bleached, and re-varnished
• New hardwood floors in kitchen and both heads
• New cream color carpet in Salon, V-Berth, and Aft-Cabin
• New beige leather couch added to salon

• All 110V outlets and most of the 110V & 12V wiring throughout has been replaced, most of the light fixtures were also replaced
• New 39” HD TV added with custom cabinet with TV lift system
• New 30” HD TV added in aft cabin
• New Black glass electric stove added
• New Black glass electric wine cooler added in place of the old oven
• New Black glass microwave added

• Engine room and anchor locker repainted in “Bilge Grey” color
• Port side raw water pump rebuilt
• Starboard side raw water impeller replaced
• New hydraulic steering cylinder added with new hoses
• All fuel hoses for both fuel tanks and the generator replaced new, also new sending units and fuel gauges added
• Racor fuel filters added
• Windlass Anchor Motor rebuilt, new stainless Lewmar anchor added with stainless chain (25’ chain & 300’ rode)
• New engine fire suppression system added by Marine Fire Tec.
