DAY 1 (February 2, 2011): Florida yacht broker, Justin Onofrietti departed for Cap Cana, Puerto Rico today to begin a 5-day journey to bring his 2000 50′ Hatteras Convertible listing, Just For You, to Fort Lauderdale, for a quick sale.
Upon arrival, Justin will feature the Hatteras listing at Denison’s New River docks in downtown Fort Lauderdale for maximum exposure to potential sportfish buyers.
Justin has charted his course carefully and will be checking all systems tomorrow morning for immediate departure.
Justin’s real-world experience as a megayacht captain for many years, as well as his numerous new-build construction projects make Justin a popular yacht broker to yacht owners that desire delivery advice, refit counsel, and maintenance and yacht management direction from their yacht broker.
Please check in over the next few days as Justin will provide us updates with photos and comments on his day’s travels.

DAY 2 (February 3, 2011): Justin just sent an email indicating his departure from the docks of Cap Cana with a trusty first mate, Humberto La Romana, 6 extra fuel drums, and an EPIRB.
This photo is from the dock, a few minutes before push off:

Day 2 Update: Justin arrived safely into the Dominican Republic tonight.
“Landed safely in the dark and through 6-8 foot seas it was a messy day. That boat is incredible, handled like a champ. We were both soaked when we pulled in!”

DAY 3 (February 4, 2011): Justin and mate Humberto arrived safely at Ocean Marina (Dominican Republic). Weather is beautiful (photo below offers proof). The Hatteras and team will be heading towards the Turks this morning. More news and photos to follow.

DAY 4 (February 5, 2011): The crew (Justin and Humberto) and the vessel (50′ Hatteras) have officially arrived in the Turks and Caicos. They are currently refueling at Turtle Cove Marina, just a few yards from the megayacht, Lady Diane, 124′ Sovereign.

Photo Update: Justin has taken a few interesting photos along the way, yes, even a double rainbow on the open seas:
