Overview

After doing a market analysis we have strategically placed ‘Slow Ride’ as the lowest priced Superhawk 34 on the market which is rather amazing considering she is also in the best condition of any Superhawk regardless of year. Considering she is a brand new listing as of December 2010 this yacht will not last on the market. Owner is motivated so all offers are encouraged.

Important Owner’s Comments

Aside from the exhaust manifold replacement in 2007 all work has been of a maintenance nature. Keep in mind that the manifolds were from Mercury and are ceramic coated inside to retard rust. When this was done all new bolts were installed, as well as new plugs and plug wires. Sea water impellers have been changed on both motors and the generator numerous times as these dont live very long. The Kohler generator has about 100 hrs on it. The generator can be started from the breaker panel in the cabin or on the generator itself.

Regarding the engine, the oil has been changed always using the best High performance synthetic from Ams oil with either Hastings filters from Ams oil or Mercury filters.

The drives are serviced yearly which includes removing the drives to grease the splines and check the gimbal bearing. Both drives are in good condition with light to normal wear on the splines. Lube is always hp Mercury.

I had a new Xantrex XC series battery charger installed last spring along with the new batteries in 2010.

The chartplotter is a Standard Horizon CP 1000C with a 10.4″ screen. I sent the unit back to Standard Horizon this past summer and they downloaded all new programming in it. I also installed a new antenna which in the SH unit contains the actual GPS unit. The system works far better now than it ever did in the past. It even picks up signal through the steel roof where the boat is kept on the hoist.

The Flow Scan unit was installed by Lake Cumberland Marine when I bought the boat. It is a pricey unit that works flawlessly. It tells you the fueal consumption for each motor while running so you can dial in your efficiency and also allows you to know how much fuel you have left rather than depending on the typical gauges.

The stereo was changed to the best Clarion head unit available from Clarion when I bought the boat. I also added a 600 watt amp, subwoofer and speakers. I installed a new digital Clarion remote two years ago. It also has Sirius Satelite Radio.

Boat has ship to shore radio with remote speakers.

The air conditioning unit is original but works very well.

A four stage flushing system was installed by LCM that fresh water flushes each engine, the generator and the AC system.

The windlass system was replaced with a new system in 2007. Same unit as the original.

Cosmetically the boat had minor glass scratches and dings repaired last summer. There has never been any damage to the boat.

It has the full canvas package supplied by Sunseeker. The rear Canvas is a pain to put up but does work well if you want to enclose everything.

The head has a macerator, holding tank and overboard discharge system with a pump. All works well.

The hot water tank is small but efficient and works well.

All sytems on the boat are in good operating condition and as of this past September every functioning thing on the boat was working. [This is not normal for any boat!]

Comments

This 2002 Sunseeker 34 Superhawk has only 260 original hours on the Mercruiser 415hp Magnums that push her at a 60mph top speed with Bravo 1 Stern Drives.
She is lift kept, under cover so she is sheltered from the elements as you will see from the pictures. She has been a freshwater boat for the majority of her life minus 2 saltwater seasons.

Numerous upgrades such as exterior teak decks, 5kw Kohler generator, custom canvas covers make this one of the best 34 Superhawks on the market.

The owner is motivated so bring offers…………..
