I first met Charles as the listing broker on a boat I was interested in buying. It turned out that boat did not meet my expectations. But I was so impressed with Charles' professionalism​ as a yacht broker,​ that when I found another boat I was interested in, I asked Charles to participate as my representative.

​H​is positive attitude, his attention to detail, and his knowledge of the whole process were an asset in the sale​. Without his participation, it is doubtful this sale would have taken place.

In addition, he was excellent at keeping everyone updated on the proceedings, and in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Charles Blickle to anyone interested in buying or selling a vessel.​

I wanted to take a minute to thank you for your work finding a boat for me.  I'm not sure how many boats we looked at, but I think we covered all from 80ft to 110ft that were on the market before we found Home James.

I greatly appreciate you previewing the boats before you showed any to me.  You quickly learned what I was interested in and you discussed every boat with me before hand so I could make the decision to look at it or not.  You may not know this, but I tested your knowledge and judgment by having you show me several you thought were not for me and your call was right on. 

Home James was a difficult boat to buy, as you well know.  I changed the deal several times from the original offer.  I know this frustrated not only you but it did me too, and I'm sure the Estate that was selling it also.  But you went to bat for me each time and somehow you got all the changes done. 

Most of the badly needed work has now been done to the new No Vacancy, and we are finally getting to enjoy her.  Recently I was in the Dry Tortugas for 13 days, all of which were spent on the hook.  I towed  "Fred's" 31 ft Pursuit to use as a fishing boat, and all 11 of us had a great time. 

I am looking forward to the next time I'm in Lauderdale to having a Martini with you on the new aft deck.

Again, thank you for hanging in with me, God and my wife were the only two people that knew how difficult I can be, but now it's three.
