Just wanted you to know what a pleasure it has been to work with Peter Quintal in purchasing our 2003 Tiara Sovran. We arrived on Saturday August 9th and Peter had four boats for us see. We decided on the Tiara and began negotiations with the owner. Peter gave us excellent advice re a suggested offer price and we were able to reach agreement while we vacationed in the Keys the next week.

After reaching agreement with the owner Peter lined up Joe Flynn, Newcoast Financial Services; Brian Rasmussen, Denison Insurance; Joe Stafford, Stafford Diesel Engine; Jeff Hahn, Florida Boat & Yacht Surveyors; and Jon Parmet the captain who traveled with me to Connecticut. The entire process went very smoothly and could not have been completed in this short period of time without Peter’s guidance, direction and patience.

We departed Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, August 29th@ 11:15 am and arrived in Stratford CT. at 4:15 pm on Friday September 4th. (Don’t know if Peter ordered the weather- it was fantastic!!)

All the best to you and the Denison Team.

Testimonials

I would like to bring to your attention the exemplary services I received from one of your brokers and Denison Yacht Sales.  I never thought I would offer my Carver 444 for sale as it was a member of our family for the past decade.  So, when the time came that I felt I could no longer manage the boat it was a tough decision as to which brokerage I would utilize.   The decision became easier after my first telephone conversation with Jay Rhoades.

The boat was in Fort Pierce and Jay in Palm Beach Gardens approximately a one hour drive each way.  Mr. Rhoades indicated the distance would be of no issue and he could meet with me that day, or whenever it was convenient for me.  I met with Jay the next day who presented himself and what Denison Yachts had to offer in a professional manner.  He listened to my concerns and understood what the boat meant to me and that there were still emotions intertwined in the boat.  He indicated that the condition of the boat would sell itself and he was correct.

Jay took photos and posted them on several websites, within one hour of the posting he received a call from a prospective buyer who would make an offer and purchase Mahalo.

Jay was present for every aspect of the sale and I could easily reach him by telephone or text with absolutely no problems.

I've been a professional licensed captain for 30 years and know many people in the business who I could have turned to but looking back I will tell you Jay is a shining star.  Jay displayed the professional attitude and knowledge that made my decision easy to sign the brokerage agreement.

This note is just a quick thank Jeff Sorgen for the wonderful and professional service he and Denison Yacht Sales, provided to us in the packaging of material, the promotion and the final sale of our 43' Cheoy Lee Motor sailor, SALTAIRE.

We were astounded at the interest created in the boat and very pleased with the sale and the price received.

Please know that in our travels up and down the eastern seaboard we will recommend both Jeff and Denison to our friends who are in the market to sell their boats.

Again, our best wishes to Jeff and Denison for an exceptional sale of SALTAIRE and good luck and good health in the future.

I have known Skip Denison for about ten years. I have bought two boats and sold one with Skip as my broker. The first purchase took four years for me to decide on so he is definitely in it for the long haul. Through all three transactions he has provided excellent guidance and handled them professionally. His many contacts in the industry have proven to be honest, reliable, and fairly priced. When I decide to part with my current boat, a 52 Sabre, my first call will be to Skip Denison.
