PowerBoat Guide 2018

The Regulator 34 is a high-performance center console designed and engineered for the serious angler—a full-transom sportfisher with one of the largest cockpits in her class. Regulators are built like small tanks, and the company has long prided itself of their boat’s superior rough-water rides. Anglers will appreciate the 34’s many luxury-class amenities, but such quality never comes cheap. Standard features include an Armstrong engine bracket, forward seating with storage under, 25-gallon transom livewell, combined leaning post/livewell/tackle center with rod holders, transom fish box, foldaway rear seat, in-floor fish/storage box (aft), transom door with gate, cockpit bolsters, fresh/raw-water washdowns, forward console seat with cooler, and transom shower. A stand-up head compartment includes a sink, shower and sleeping berth. Options include a fiberglass T-top with radio box, Lee outrigger packages, and spray curtains. One of the most respected boats on the water, the 34 will reach close to 45 knots with twin Yamaha 350 outboards.

Manufacturer Provided Description

A true 34’ sportfisher with an exceptionally large cockpit and loaded with all the fishing features a dedicated angler would want. The Armstrong bracket allowed the designers to take back the transom so the size of the boat rivals 39’ competitors. Since the motor mounts are pushed back, you maximize deck space, plus with the bracket mounted power the 34 gets the same performance with twin engines that our competitors use triples to achieve. The combination of its proven hull, enhanced cockpit space and beam, plus overall design characteristics all work together to give Regulator a real edge in this niche.

Features designed to please the discriminating angler include above deck live well, transom fishbox, walk through tuna door and optional refrigerated transom fishbox. Plus amply sized console face has room for up to two multifunction displays. Other homerun hits include an all-fiberglass, stand-up head and dedicated berth for sleeping or storage.
