Looking for an affordable way to own at catamaran? Oasis is a very clean and well-equipped charter-version Leopard 43. She is currently being chartered in the West Coast Multihulls charter fleet in Loreto, Mexico on the Sea of Cortez.  New buyers are welcome to keep her in the WCM charter fleet while also having access to use it themselves whenever they want.  It's a great way to offset the cost of ownership.  On the other hand, if you want a catamaran to yourself to sail the world, she's ready to go!

Salon


Table seats six, with substantial food and beverage storage underneath the galley seats. Lighting control/dimmer for the salon is located near the navigation station. The table can be lowered to make a bed – cushions to complete the bed are located in the port V-Berth. Inverter power is available in the Salon. Please see Electrical Power Systems section for inverter usage detail. There is a flatscreen TV located in the salon.

Galley


  • Two burner LP gas stove with oven. Two 10lb propane tanks are provided and located within the seat bunker behind the captain’s chair. LP flow is enabled by turning the gas breaker on at the 12v panel.
  • Refrigerator/Freezer. The thermostat for the unit is located in the port aft cabin closet (left wall).
  • Service for eight including flatware, large and small plates, cereal bowls and serving plates and bowls
  • A variety of cups and tumblers
  • Pots, non-stick pans, other bakeware, cutting knives, cutting boards, a variety of spatulas, tongs, and large mixing spoons
  • Pour over coffee maker with thermos and filters
  • Ice Maker

Cockpit


The cockpit area has a table that seats 6-8 and a separate bench with two additional seats, all with weatherproof cushions. The area is shaded by a hard bimini as well as an additional sunshade over the dingy davits. A Weber Q grill is mounted to the aft rail. An outdoor shower is located at the port scoop.

Staterooms


There are four staterooms with a private head in each stateroom. The berths are queen, and we have provided linens and towels. The forward staterooms have a one-person V berth. Berths are equipped with closets w/hangars, shelving, cabin lights, reading lights, fans, and wind scoops. To use the wind scoops, seat them around the hatch on the deck, and pull the wooden rod through the hatch and then across hatch frame to secure the wind scoop.

Electrical Power Systems


12v System

  • This system will provide power for all lights, fans, fridge, etc... please look at the 12v panel to better understand what is powered by 12v.
  • The 12v system will not provide power to the 110v receptacles when not connected to shore power. Two inverters to provide 110v power while disconnected from shore power. Please see Inverter section below.

House Batteries

Approx 600 AH AGM battery bank – located within the rear cockpit seat bunker.

The shutoff breaker is located under the navigation station desk.

The house batteries can be charged in three different ways

  • Solar
  • Either engine will charge the house batteries when on and not in neutral
  • Shore Power – the charger is located underneath the navigation station desk. It needs to be manually turned on after attaching to shore power. 

Solar

  • Four 180w panels, separated pairs on two chargers.

Shore power

  • Primary cord has two 30-amp receptacles with both a 50-amp and a 15-amp 110v adapter
  • A shore power charger to charge the house batteries is located underneath the table at the navigation station.
  • Note - Air condition can only be used while on shore power 

Inverters

  • A small pure sine wave inverter is provided at the navigation station for charging small devices, laptops and cell phones, etc...
  • A 3000w pure sine wave inverter is available to power two 110v outlets that are both located in the salon. The panel to turn this inverter on/off is located in the salon on the outside of the galley island.

Engines & Fuel


Two 39HP Yanmar diesel engines and two 44 gallon fuel tanks.

  • Each engine will consume about 1 GPH at 2000-2200 RPMs
  • Each engine will charge the house battery bank
  • Starter Battery breakers are located in each aft cupboard

Air Conditioning


Oasis is equipped with a dual air-conditioning system.

One system cools the forward portion of the salon and galley, as well as the forward staterooms

One systems cools the aft portion of the salon and galley, as well as the aft staterooms. The aft AC is new 2019.

The thermostats are located at the navigation station. The systems stays well balanced with the aft thermostat set about 5-6 degrees lower than the forward thermostat. They are labeled on the inside of the thermostat panel.

AC is only usable when on shore power.

Water System


Oasis has two 100 gallon water tanks located in the forward bunkers.

The valves for tank usage are located underneath the galley sink.

There is a carbon filter located in the starboard scoop storage area to be used when filling the tanks.

Hot water heaters can be used when plugged into shore power.

Hot water is also available for a significant amount of time after running either engine.

Anchoring & Lines


  • The primary anchor has 150’ of chain attached to the electric windlass.
  • The breaker for the windlass can be located underneath the navigation station desk.
  • A wide variety of lines for mooring, docking, etc… are stored in the forward lockers as well as the rear locker in the cockpit area.
  • Two additional anchors.

Safety Equipment


  • 10 PFDs – located in the port side aft scoop.
  • First Aid Kit – located in the port forward stateroom
  • Airhorn and Flare kit – located under the navigation station desk
  • Fire extinguishers in all staterooms, salon, and galley
  • Fire and Carbon Monoxide alarms
  • EPIRB – located under the captain’s desk

Dinghy


The dinghy is a 6 person inflatable with a 15 HP “two stroke” motor.
