This Catana Bali 4.5 is very well outfitted, and is a proven ocean cruiser (has crossed the Atlantic once), with a full array of gear to make your travels very comfortable, from 4-zone Air Conditioning, watermaker, dishwasher and washer/dryer, to solar panels, 11 Kw generator, a full set of sails, and safety gear (including liferaft). Comes with an 11 foot ultralight tender with an aluminium bottom and a nice davit system that turns into a sunbathing platform. The foredeck can be full outfitted with sun pads, a comfortable seating area for 12, with opening windows into the salon inside to pass food and drinks. This is a 3 Cabin, 2 head layout (with a crew berth). With the drop-down salon table, you can easily sleep 9 aboard inside.

Helm:
The Helm is located to Starboard, elevated above the Aft Guest Cabin. It’s protected by a Bimini top and izenglass enclosure. There’s a bench seat for two, and from the controls you have access to the windlass, a chart plotter, VHF, autopilot, engine start/stop and gauges, along with two electric winches for the main sail and Genoa and spinnaker lines. There’s access to the helm from a set of three-step ladder from cockpit, and from Starboard hull side deck.

This boat comes equipped as a 3 Cabin, 2 Head version, with the Master Cabin and Head to Port, and 2 Guest Quarters to Starboard, forward and Aft, with a Guest Head in between. beyond the forward Guest Cabin is also a V-berth crew Quarter that can be storage. The Salon is in between the hulls, and consists of a Galley to port-aft, a Navigation Station to Port-forward, a larger Settee to Starboard forward, and the full-size refrigerator/freezer and flat screen TV to Starboard Aft.
Galley:
The Galley is immediately to port when you enter. Has an amazing view all around, and is the heart of the living interior space. “U” shape with a longer side, it allows for two people to work. There’s a large 4 long x 2.5 feet tall plexiglass window that faces aft and opens to the cockpit, to provide air, pass dishes to the settee, and marry the outside/inside space. Plenty of counter space. The storage consists of a three level storage under the cooktop, 4 drawers of various sizes, and three eye level storages. The counter has metal bars at two ends to stop items from sliding.

The Interior Salon is centered on the vessel. The bench seating is L-shape, located to starboard when you enter the vessel, and has a view to Aft and to Port. An opening window is great for talking to anyone out in the forward seating. The Nav Station is further to Port.
Master Cabin:
The Master Quarters take up the entire Port Hull and has separate air conditioning. The ceiling is almost 7 foot tall throughout, and the hull is about 6 foot wide, giving plenty of space to move around. When you go down the three steps, there’s an open area about 12 feet long with a small desk, a bench seat, a large cabinet with two doors that gives plenty of counter space, and further aft more cabinets with shelves and a hanging locker. There’s a full length mirror on the door. The bed is all the way aft and about 6 wide by 7 feet long. There’s reading lights on each side, storage cubbies, a fan and access to the Air conditioning controls. All the way forward is the head, which is about 8 foot long and spacious enough for two.
Master Head:
Guest Aft Cabin:
Located in the Port Hull, this cabin is aft, and is about 11 Feet Long by 6 at its widest. Comfortable but cozy for two, this is the 2nd biggest Cabin after the Master.
Guest Fwd Cabin:
Located In the Port Hull forward (The Guest Head is sandwiched between the Guest cabins), this cabin is the smallest, but manages to comfortably fit a 5ft wide by 6 foot long berth, a a large locker, and storage cubbies. The Fwd Cabin also has a round porthole access port to a V-berth Crew Quarter.
Crew Quarter (Port, Forward of Guest Fwd Cabin):
Currently the Crew Quarter has a mattress and a sail (Extra Furling Jib)
Guest Head:
Located in the Starboard Hull, midship, the Guest Head measures about 9 foot by 3.5 feet (at its widest) and features a separate shower area with a plexiglass door, counter space and a storage nook. On the other side is the vanity and toilet area, with a bowl type sink, two mirrors, above and below the counter storage. There are two large towel racks.

Engines are located astern on each hull. They have individual water-sealed lockers with fire extinguishers.
Safety:
The Catana Bali 4.5 has a European CE Offshore Certification. For Category “A” (High Seas), it’s rated for 12 passengers ; Cat “B” 12; Cat. “C” 18; and Cat “D” 22. A plaque near the floor of the salon settee is posted.
