Papa-san Yacht Description

1987 Kadey-Krogen 42 Trawler “Papa-San”(hull no 116)

This beautiful and timeless classic Kadey-krogen trawler is designed to go the distance and serve all your needs. She is powered by the dependable marinized Lehman Ford. she is  designed to cruise at 8 knots but cruises most efficiently at 7 and carries 700 gallons of diesel when both tanks are full. What is unique about this vessel are 20 ft aluminum “A” frames that each deploy an aluminum para vane that stabilize her when both cruising and at anchor.  She has safely transported us to all of the Florida Keys, most of the Bahama Islands and Northern Mexico for the past 25 years and never required refueling in a foreign port. With her transom door opening out to a teak dive platform she is excellent for snorkeling scuba diving.
