Accommodations

Accommodations & Layout
Starstream is a very well cared for rare 46 GB with a down galley and twin 375hp Caterpillar engines. Typical of Grand Banks she features an attractive profile and functionality in design. Her elegant trawler profile and her proven semi-displacement hull makes the GB 46 a true offshore passagemaker and a superior sea-boat. This particular GB 46 Classic features the desired layout with galley down which provides for a larger galley area and much bigger salon. The original owner of Starstream ex-LEPRECHAUN did do some smart custom features to the boat. Note the laundry room incorporated with the forward head ideal for a liveaboard or long range cruising. Additionally in the salon is a custom wine storage locker with additional storage directly across from the helm. Moving up to the main salon she features updated leather helm seat and L-settee directly behind the helm. The captain benefits by having an ULine Icemaker installed under the helm seat. Located to port in the salon there are two easy chairs with a centered cabinet between the two. When installing the hydronic furnace the owner plumbed two vents next to each chair and one underneath the settee for comfort! The salon features a practical hi-lo yacht table with folding leaf 's as well. Moving further aft and down three steps is the master stateroom with a queen island berth. The master stateroom has abundant storage through out. When designing the aft stateroom Grand Banks did a very smart split head arrangment. The head is to port in the cabin and features a Vacuflush head and sink. Located to starboard in the stateroom is the separate shower stall with opening overhead hatch and sliding window. Again an ideal arrangement for a liveaboard or for long range cruising. Throughout the boat she features valance lighting in main salon and aft cabin, custom entertainment cabinet with Samsung flat panel color TV. Also located in the salon is a Sony CD player and 6 disc separate CD player. The stereo has speakers located in the salon and also the aft cabin. The speakers in the aft cabin have there own separate volume switches.

Galley

The galley is down and features two-stacked refrigerator compartments. Additionally there is an under the counter freezer, all of which feature Grunert holding heavy duty refrigeration. There are temperature gauges on both the refrigerator and freezer. The galley has a three-burner propane stove with oven and microwave. Vessel also contains a Whirlpool washer and dryer in the forward head compartment. The galley is physically located directly underneath the windshield so it benefits from lots of natural sun light! Lots of cabinet drawers and storage for long range cruising or living aboard.
