Anamari Yacht Description

ANAMARI is a 1989 63' Viking motor yacht with a wide body salon and powered with preferred GM 12V7TI 900 HP engines. She has a unique layout with a huge master stateroom, ensuite head with tub/shower and a wall of closets, settee and vanity.

There is a tapered queen guest cabin to port and a twin (both lower) cabin to starboard. These share a head with shower.

She has crew quarters forward with two bunks and ensuite head with shower.

The main salon is very large with a very gradual staircase to flybridge. There is a dining table in a separate area but a pass through can be opened to the galley. There is storage for (4) cases of wine horizontally.

The galley is large and well equipped. Forward of the galley is the lower helm with a bench seat and side doors to the forward deck. Above the pilothouse is the flybridge with two helm chairs.

Anamari has been owned by a family from Puerto Rico for about ten years.  The first five years she was based in South Florida and cruised to the Chesapeake Bay most summers. Five years ago she went to Puerto Rico on her own bottom and has been cruising the British Virgin Islands since that time.  All of this time she has been maintained by a full time professional captain and has been well cared for.  Two years ago she received cosmetic damage as a result of Hurricane Irene and there was a long delay in receiving a hurricane settlement from the Puerto Rican insurance company.  In the middle of this the family patriarch passed away and the son has taken over the yacht, mostly handling the hurricane repairs and upgrades listed towards the end of this listing.  She is now an Estate Sale and is located minutes from San Juan International Airport. Lots of upgrades and improvements at the owners expense have been made in addition to the repairs covered by insurance! The owner just completed an eleven day trip in the BVI's without any problems!

Brokers Comments & Recent Work 2019

A year and a half ago ANAMARI went through Hurricane Irene with mostly cosmetic damage. The port lower exhaust fender is fractured rubrails and resulted in some hull scratches. The yacht was consequently hauled out so the hull could be inspected and repaired. Insurance paid for the hull to be repainted and the owner opted to pay additional amounts to have most of the superstructure painted and new bottom paint applied at that time. The owner has also replaced all the canvas and installed simulated teak side decks which look awesome!

The following repairs and upgrades have been made to the vessel in 2018 and 2019:

*The 20kw Phasor generator had the heat exchanger cleaned and the water pump repaired. All maintenance has been completed to date. The hours clock had stopped working so it has been replaced and now shows roughly 200 hours however the correct number would be around 1500 hours.
*The 20kw Kohler generator had the turbo, seals, and gaskets replaced. Rebuilt injectors. All maintenance to date has been completed.

Main Engines:

*All maintenance is completed to date. Sensors have been replaced. Both engines have had gaskets, governors, turbos, injectors, hoses and clamps serviced and replaired. Both engines have around 3700 hours on them.

*All filters have been changed

*All maintenance is up to date. Two new sea water pumps have been installed. The pilothouse fancoil unit was replaced.

*The hull, the bottom, and 90% of the superstructure have just been repainted after all windows were resealed.
*All four shaft brushings replaced when the yacht hauled out and was completely painted.

While out of the water for bottom painting all shaft bearings were replaced.

*Changed the gas tank to a new one
*Honda motor working with full maintenance
*Replaced steering cable
*New Bimini top and tender cover

This novurania tender is not in great shape- buyer will want to purchase a new one or get new tubes. Motor runs well for its age.

*Changed the garmin plotter to newer 10" one at the upper helm
*New sony radio with 4 speakers on upper deck
*Replaced the Furuno navigator in the pilot house with a Garmin GP39.

*All sump pumps cleaned, serviced, and resealed. All bilge pumps have been checked and are working. Also added additional pump to forward area which previously did not have one.

Holding Tank:

*The pump was checked and flappers were reconditioned- everything working perfectly.

*Bonding checked and tightened throughout the vessel

*Wood work was polished and reconditioned. New Barber carpeting in saloon and master.

*Boat deck freezer repaired.
*Freezer in Pilot house repaired.

Fresh Water Tank:

*The fresh water tank has been reinforced and covered with fiberglass- also had an overflow valve installed and corrected to drain outside.

Main Saloon

*New LED lamp lighting
