Dennis Smith

As General Manager of OneWater Yacht Group for the South Atlantic, I oversee operations from Virginia Beach down to Daytona, FL, bringing 30 years of experience helping clients achieve their yachting dreams. My career began in 1994, and just two years later, I co-founded Cape Fear Yacht Sales before joining Grande Yachts International in 2013, now part of OneWater.

Born in Brooklyn and raised between the Jersey Shore and summers on Lake Hampstead, NH, my lifelong passion for boating and water sports naturally led me into the marine industry. Today, I continue to grow OneWater Yacht Group’s presence across the Carolinas, Coastal Georgia, and Florida, guiding clients not only through yacht purchases, but also through the enjoyment and service that comes after ownership. Based in Wilmington, NC, I frequently travel to Charleston, Hilton Head, Savannah, and Florida, but my greatest joy is time spent on the water with my daughters, Caroline and Avery.
