Rachel Brown

Rachel was born and raised in the green mountains of Vermont. Rachel played basketball competitively from a young age and went to the University of Vermont on a full athletic scholarship. There she majored in English and Studio Art.

After graduating from college, Rachel went travelling and fell in love with Australia where she lived for the next five years. There she worked as a bar manager and also sold advertising space for a multi media marketing company.

In 2007, Rachel went to Fort Lauderdale and joined the Yachting Industry. She started as a solo stewardess and eventually became chief stewardess on a busy 55 meter charter yacht. In the next ten years she crossed the Atlantic five times and travelled extensively to the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and New England. Rachel enjoyed the dynamics of working with crew from all over the world and providing the highest level of service to her guests.

In 2015 Rachel got married and now has two young daughters and resides in Pompano Beach, Florida. Her husband is a yacht engineer and diesel engine surveyor.
