34meter Custom Line, “Happy Days” Launched by In Italy

Ferretti Yachts announced the launch in Ancona, Italy of its largest superyacht to date, a 34 metre long, luxurious Ferretti Custom Line 112’ NEXT destined for ownership and cruising out of Phuket.

Capable of 28 knots powered by her twin 2800 hp M.T.U. engines, the yacht, named Happy Days was moved from CRN (brand of Ferretti Group) Ancona shipyard and underwent a traditional champagne bottle launch witnessed by Lee Marine Managing Director, Joshua Lee, Ferretti executives, captain and crew.

The yacht, boasts 5 large ensuite Guest Staterooms and a distinctive raised pilothouse to separate owner and guests from the operational side, will undergo sea trials in Croatia, Montenegro and along the Italian coast before being transported by ship to Asia and her eventual base on Phuket.

Josh Lee of Lee Marine has been a pleasure to work with, Josh’s help, assistance and direction from him and his staff has been greatly appreciated, without his help, to achieve what we have would have been very difficult. He has been a huge asset to work with. All the CRN shipyard staff have been very helpful and given us all the help and assistance we asked for, making us all feel very welcome.”

The Custom Line 112’ NEXT, which was first launched in 2008, is a 34 meters (112′, hence the name) planing yacht, over 7 meters wide, produced at the CRN Ancona shipyard, part of Ferretti Group. The hull and superstructure are built in multi-axis fibreglass, a composite material that offers advantages at equal weight, both as regards resistance and rigidity. The yacht can carry up to 20 people plus 4 crew.
