Hatteras Yachts 90 Motor Yacht Construction Update

The Hatteras 90 Motor Yacht’s hull is even further along in construction, with the twin 1,900-bhp Caterpillar C-32A diesels already in place and the rest of the engine room’s systems and equipment installed in neat and tidy Hatteras fashion.

The Cabinet Shop is now installing the furniture on the lower deck, which has a spacious four stateroom, four-head layout with a full-beam master suite amidships. Rosewood was used for some of the cabinetry to beautiful effect.

Next on the agenda is a Hatteras first − a hydraulic balcony is about to be installed in the port side of the 90 Motor Yacht’s hull. This is going to be a sweet spot for the owners to sit and watch the sun set into the sea. 

Outdoor entertaining is maximized on the 90 Motor Yacht, which has a large aft deck settee and dining table. The foredeck also holds a settee, cocktail table and a large sun pad – an optional layout includes fore- and aft-facing benches served by a table.

When it comes to entertaining guests, the expansive flybridge on the 90 Motor Yacht also is sure to be a popular spot. In addition to the fully equipped helm station, which is shaded by a hardtop on the Open version, the flybridge holds a dining table for eight, a long settee and a bar.

The new Hatteras Yachts 90 Motor Yacht is scheduled to debut at the 2017 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show.
