The new 410 is designed for those looking for something a little more commanding than a traditional express cruiser. You’ll find a huge saloon and galley area in this two-cabin, two-head yacht with all sleeping quarters loctaed forward of amidships. The raised flying bridge provides a commanding view from the helm.
The 72-square-foot cockpit leads directly into the saloon via a single curved-glass doorway. Once inside you’ll find a curved C-shaped lounge across from the L-shaped galley to port. In this case, the saloon is just for relaxing since the 410 has a big semi-circular lounge/dining area one-step up. This affords a degree of separation between to two areas, so perhaps Dad can be working away on the laptop in the dining area while the kids watch videos in the saloon.
The 410 will make an excellent family cruiser with an island queen-berth located fully forward in the bow and twin single-berths amidships. Topsides the 410 proved to be a very easy yacht to run and dock, and the command bridge has a curved lounge abaft the helm to let everyone join in the action. While there is a dining table up top I found it too close to the seats for easy in/out access, but that of course depends on your size. Against that, with a top-end speed of 33 mph and a range of nearly 250 miles, the new 410 Sedan is a commanding new alternative for those who’ve “been there, done that” on the express cruiser scene and are looking for a little more room with a view.
The lower helm station offers cozy accommodations.
If you need to get out of the weather while underway, the available lower helm transforms the dinette into a pilothouse with passenger lounge.
A beautiful galley complete with everything.
The complete galley includes a full-size refrigerator/freezer, three-burner electric range, convection microwave and coffee maker to make you think you’re at home.
