Boat Review: 530 Carver Voyager

Source: Boattest.com

Carver’s 530 Voyager Pilothouse is stylish, sophisticated, and exciting. The 530 is a big comfortable cruising yacht that will satisfy everyone in the family.

As soon as you step into the cockpit of the 530 and slide open Carver’s signature glass doors you’ll understand how Carver packs so much into its boats. The 11-foot long salon is finished in dark cherry and its big windows provide plenty of sunlight. The galley is a chef’s dream complete with a Sub-Zero refrigerator, three-burner electric stove, stainless steel sinks, and microwave/convection oven. One of the feature highlights of the boat is the 530’s pilothouse, which has a wraparound centerline helm station with a non-glare console, custom gauges, and best of all, a six position, electronically operated helm chair for the skipper of the boat

Carver’s 530 Voyager Pilothouse speaks for itself through its style, finesse and grand interior. In fact, the company has a reputation for maximizing interior space, and the new 530 shows you how it’s done.

Your first surprise comes when you step through the doublewide sliding door aft and enter the two-level, fully carpeted main deck. The cockpit-level salon has seven feet of headroom and measures 12’4″ wide and 11’10” long.

In the master stateroom the arched doors and curved bulkheads add to the dramatic design as does the queen-size bed in the alcove. And up in the bow the guest stateroom features a centerline queen berth, circular hatch overhead, and direct access to the guest head with shower.

Style can have a big influence on the kind of boat you will own. If your taste runs toward a big comfortable cruising yacht with the kind of style that satisfies both the mind and eye, Carver’s 530 Voyager Pilothouse just might be your starship.

You’ll feel like you’re driving a starship.

The pilothouse is a neat feature on the 530 Voyager where everyone can hang out and enjoy the ride and view from inside. The helm station will make you feel as though your the captain of a starship.

The 530 offers live-aboard accommodations.

The salon is open and spacious following the Carver tradition of the “Great Room” theme. The galley offers good countertop space and has a seperate refrigerator and freezer, and three-burner cooktop.

Thoughtfully designed stateroom.

The owner’s stateroom is located amidship and features a queen-sized island berth with twin night stands, two hanging lockers, and a chest of drawers. The stateroom also has a private head.
