The Hatteras 64 Motor Yacht features sleek, contemporary exterior styling matched to a luxurious interior finished to the industry’s highest standards. The model reflects acute attention to customer input, reflected in a fresh accommodation plan and intuitive touches found throughout the vessel.

High performance is assured by a base engine package of 1,000 hp CAT C-18s, which provide a comfortable 22 to 24 knot cruise at 2100 RPM and a fast top-end of 26 to 28 knots. Should you require higher performance, larger engines are available from both CAT and MTU.

The 64 Motor Yacht incorporates Hatteras’ popular convex hull shape, allowing for more interior space forward and providing for a softer ride in rough water. Propeller tunnels afford this 116,700 pound motor yacht a 4 ft. & 8 inches draft with the heaviest engines available. With the base CAT C-18s, the yacht weighs in at 110,700 pounds for a draft of only 4 ft. & 6 inches.

The 106 sq. ft. aft deck provides convenient access to the swim platform and features fiberglass seating, a solid-surface table, ample lighting and stereo speakers. Convenient for the owner-operator or crew, a fiberglass stairwell provides quick access to the bridge. Gas-assisted cylinders lift that stairwell for easy access to the engine room as well.

The bridge deck is conveniently accessed via the fiberglass stairwell from the aft deck or from a stainless steel stairwell from the galley/pilothouse area. Standards include twin helm seats, an L-shaped lounge with storage underneath, and a dry bar to the starboard side with refrigerator. A modular design approach allows the owner to add additional cabinetry to house an electric grill or additional seating aft of the standard dry bar. Aft, the bridge deck features a 1,100 pound rotational davit.

The 64 features a full beam 190 sq. ft. salon and 146 sq. ft. galley, while providing an ample 10 inches of side decks for comfortable access to the bow. The spacious salon opens into the galley, dining and pilothouse, providing for an expansive living area. The full glass and stainless-steel salon door allows the aft deck to be an extension of the salon. Inside the salon, genuine black cherry wood veneers can be finished in satin or high-gloss to perfectly complement the yacht’s reveal-style cabinetry and decorative soffit overhead. The large salon windows offer an expansive view, while duets recessed into pockets provide privacy.

Comfort and luxury abounds in the twin club chairs and custom-designed lounge with accessible storage beneath. The entertainment center features a 37 inch plasma TV mounted forward and to port, making it visible from all parts of the salon. Situated between the twin club chairs is a convenient cabinet with plenty of bottle and glass storage, or an optional pop-up plasma unit.

Just three steps up from the salon is a spacious galley, dining area and lower helm station. The fully equipped galley features an under-counter Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, microwave/convection oven with door, four-burner ceramic cook-top, stainless sink with garbage disposal, solid-surface counter tops and back splashes, and Amtico vinyl-strip flooring.

Directly across from the galley, a raised U-shape dinette has large storage drawers underneath. The large solid-surface table provides plenty of dining area. Mounted on twin stainless-steel pedestals, the table also hinges for easy access to this comfortable seating while underway.

The lower helm station allows room for plenty of guests. Sturdy single-lever controls, a GPS/plotter, autopilot, VHF, and depth/speed gauge are all standard. To starboard, a pantograph door provides easy access to the side decks.

A central stairwell accessible from the galley/pilothouse area leads to the lower deck. The full-beam master stateroom features a tray ceiling providing 83 inches of headroom. Oval port lights to port and starboard provide an abundance of natural light as well as an emergency escape. Twin nightstands, dressers and wardrobes mirror each side of the king-size berth. The berth features cedar-lined storage accessed by gas-assisted cylinders. Dual hanging lockers add to the tremendous storage. For entertaining, a 20 inch LCD TV is standard along with a stereo and CD/DVD player. The master head features a tub, bowed cabinetry and Plexiglas mirror fascias above.

A spacious port guest stateroom features side-by-side twins, while bow stateroom features a queen berth hinged with cedar-lined storage. For those who require a fourth stateroom, a slightly reconfigured master stateroom allows for upper/lower berths.

Throughout the boat, air conditioning s—-over the soffits running down the hull sides of each area, allowing the flow of air to spread over the entire length of the room. Air returns are routed through the cabinetry where possible to keep the headliner clean. All heads are equipped with an air-conditioning vent, full Plexiglas mirrors, bowed wood cabinets, solid-surface counter tops and back splashes, Amtico vinyl-strip flooring, wood baseboards and high-quality fixtures as standard equipment.
