Albemarle Boats has joined Brunswick as part of the newly formed Hatteras Group, with Queensland Marine Centre displaying two Albemarle models – the 310 and 268 Express – at the recent Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

“Through our upcoming alignment with Hatteras Yachts, we will be a formidable force and an agile competitor in the offshore sportsfishing marketplace,” Albemarle president Scotty Harrell said.

“Brunswick is on the cutting edge of technology and will advance and improve our operations faster than we could have ever dreamed of going it alone.”

Albemarle, a key brand in trailerable inboard sportsfishing boats, is headquartered in North Carolina and has more than 30 dealer locations throughout the United States, Europe and Japan.

The 310 Express is aimed at families and hardcore fishers, with a layout and design said to deliver superior offshore performance. Its centreline pod-style helm features a raised pedestal captain’s chair said to provide great visibility and plenty of topside seating.

According to Albemarle, the 268 offers a balance of beauty, fishability, and comfort. Features include a 21-degree deadrise, a low centre of gravity, an optional doublewide companion seat, a 20-gallon livewell, tackle station, extra storage for rigging supplies, a stand-up head, shower, and galley.
