Legend has it that the Seychelles are the original site of the Garden of Eden. The 115 islands are an archipelago of legendary beauty. They cluster around the main island of Mahé. Seychelles is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Vallée de Mai on Praslin where the wondrously shaped Coco-de-mer nut grows high on ancient palms and fabled Aldabra, the world’s largest raised coral atoll, first seen by early Arab seafarers of the 9th century A.D. Seychelles, one of the world’s very last frontiers, promises adventure and breathtaking natural beauty in pristine surrounds still untouched by man.
From the smallest frog to the heaviest land tortoise and the only flightless bird of the Indian Ocean, Seychelles nurtures an amazing array of endemic species within surrounds of exceptional natural beauty. Seychelles is famous for having some of the best beaches in the world, pristine and uncrowded. Some are framed by age-old granite boulders. Others offer powder-soft sands, turquoise waters and sublime opportunities for swimming, snorkeling or pure relaxation. She truly is a tropical paradise.
The Maldives: Yacht Charter
The Maldives has deep blue seas, turquoise reefs, white sandy beaches and palm trees. It is also a place full of character, where its people have long spent their days languishing in the very essence of idyll living. The warm seas of Maldives have high visibility throughout the year with water clear enough to see the passing fish as far as fifty meters away at times. Add to that the marvelous formation of over 3000 coral reefs and the free flowing tides of the monsoons and the result is one of the world’s richest diving coral reef areas.
Over a thousand species of fish and other underwater creatures inhabit the Maldivian waters from tiny shrimp and groups of colorful swimmers to the magnificent mantas and sharks. Maldives is a mecca to surf-enthusiasts from all over the world, with the southwest monsoon bringing with it massive swells, especially from June to September. In a place that is more sea than land, there is no end to the fun things you do in the water.
I want to tell you that you have been very thorough and helpful in this process for me (of buying my 72′ Hatteras Motoryacht), and I appreciate it a lot. I’ve enjoyed getting to know you a bit, and hope we can enjoy a dinner or something in the future. This has been an enjoyable process for me, mainly because of you. God bless.
