2018 Northern European Shipyard Tour

A few weeks ago, a team of Denison superyacht brokers embarked on a Northern European tour of 9 shipyards in Germany and Holland.

The tour provided our superyacht team the opportunity to see the shipyards’ new launches, current builds, future plans and build slots. Our brokers received a behind-the-scenes look at each shipyard’s philosophy, culture and innovations, which will be invaluable toward our mission of providing our clients insight on all-things superyacht.

The team included Ken Denison, Kurt Bosshardt, Alex Clarke, Patrick Hopkins, Josh Olsen, Ben Farnborough and Bob Denison.

The yards our team visited included: Feadship’s Royal Van Lent & De Vries yards, Lurssen, Oceanco, Jongert, Van der Valk, Amels, Hessen & Hakvoort.

“These annual trips have become an important tradition for our team. Not only was it a great opportunity to deepen our relationships with the industry leaders in Northern Europe, it was also a lot of fun, and a great chance for our team to see the systems and processes of each yard,” added Ben Farnborough, Denison’s Director of Marketing.
