Yacht Review: Princess 68 Flybridge

February 28, 2019 9:06 am

Princess Yachts 68 Fly | 2015 – 2018

A breathtakingly beautiful yacht, used Princess 68s are always in demand.

Overview:

Among the most technically advanced yachts in her class, the Princess 68 is an impeccable blend of luxury, space + performance. An aft-galley layout—unique in a yacht this size—with triple sliding doors and an electrically opening aft window offers several dining options with a dinette opposite the galley and another in the cockpit. Acres of glass allow light to pour into the main deck salon, a step up from the galley. The twin-seat helm station is next to a small lounge area, just forward of the salon’s U-shaped leather sofa and coffee table.

There are four staterooms and three full heads on the lower level. The full beam owner’s stateroom, accessed from its own private stairwell in the salon, features a centerline king-sized bed, dressing area, sofa, and large rectangular hull windows. Guests will enjoy three further cabins, two ensuite, plus the aft crew quarters. The aft deck is the main dining area with seating for eight and a large teak table. The 68 provides plenty of entertaining space with both cockpit and foredeck seating as well as an expansive flybridge with full helm, bar, dining area, and sun pads. MAN 14100hp V12 diesels cruise at 26–28 knots (low 30s top).
