Jeffrey Nelms

Jeffrey grew up in Powder Springs, Georgia, where he spent most of his time riding horses, fishing, camping, and doing anything to keep him out of the house. After high school, he hightailed it out of that small town for the grand city of Nashville, Tennessee. There were a few detours along the way, but he made it there in the end. Once in Nashville, Jeffrey attended Middle Tennessee State University, where he studied Animal Science with a concentration in Equine Science.

After leaving school, he held many jobs, ranging from horse trainer & barn manager to CBS accounts payable/receivable representative. After spending almost 10 years in Nashville, he made the decision to move back to Atlanta to be closer to family. He made the leap and took the position of head server/bartender at one of the biggest drag bars in Atlanta, while working another full time job. When Jeffrey began moving up in the company of the full-time role, he parted ways with the bar, which gave him the time to start playing softball for HSL in Atlanta. Last year, his softball team made it to the NAGAAA World Series.

Jeffrey made his way to Florida when his partner took a position with Expedia, leading to the decision to move to Hollywood, Florida. He now plays for the SFAAA softball league there and they are on track to play in the 2022 World Series in Dallas, Texas.
