Heesen Yachts Delivers 153′ Megayacht, Air

IBI News: The 153′ (47m) superyacht series at Heesen Yachts that began with megayacht Yalla in 2004, continues, with the hand-over of the 6th launch in the growing yacht series, Air.

Megayacht Air features styling from Omega Architects, along with Heesen Yacht’s own in-house team of yacht designers. Omega Architects also handled the interior design of Air.

Like her sister yachts, the round-bilge Air is expected to max out at 15.5 knots and boast a 4,000-nautical mile range at 12 knots. Her power is produced by twin MTU 20V4000 M93L diesel engines. Her draft is 9’6″ (2.92m).

Heesen Yachts has 3 additional 47meter megayachts currently under construction, with one expected to be delivered in 2011 and the other 2 to be handed over to their awaiting owners in 2012.
