Alex Sabet

Alex Sabet is a USCG-licensed 100 Ton Master with over a decade of professional yachting experience. Starting his career on deck and rising through the ranks to captain, he has served aboard vessels up to 300 feet, navigating waters from the Caribbean and Bahamas to the Mediterranean, New England, Central America, and his home waters of Southern California.

Before charting a course at sea, Alex earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on business management from Arizona State University. He built a strong foundation in communication and client service through early roles in media relations with the Los Angeles Angels and marketing at Google—skills that continue to shape his work in yachting today.

Alex is the founder of Sapphire Yacht Group, a Southern California-based yacht management firm dedicated to providing a seamless, stress-free ownership experience. From operations and maintenance to crew coordination and vendor management, Sapphire handles every detail with professionalism and care.

Combining corporate savvy with hands-on maritime expertise, Alex brings a unique perspective to yacht management and brokerage. Whether he's running, managing, or representing a yacht, his mission is simple: to deliver exceptional service with integrity, consistency, and attention to detail.
