Andriy Petrenko

Andriy was born in the coastal town of Odessa, on the picturesque shores of the Black Sea, and was passionate about sailing from a young age.

Sailing helped Andriy develop a love for yachts, discipline, and teamwork. These qualities became the foundation not only for his personal growth but also laid the groundwork for his future successful career.

After graduating from the Odessa National Maritime Academy with a degree in navigation, Andriy began working on large commercial vessels finishing his seafaring career as a Chief Officer. He subsequently became a lead auditor for a crewing company, while simultaneously obtaining a law degree in maritime law from his alma mater.

Andriy’s brokering career began in 2007 when he founded a company providing legal services and consultancy in the areas of yacht purchase, sale & registration and was appointed as Special Agent for the Marshall Islands with notary rights. A year later, he established a company specializing in yacht delivery, agency services and repair. These companies have allowed Andriy to expand his activities in the maritime industry and become a prominent figure in the pan European yachting business.

In 2024, Andriy joined Denison’s growing team in Monaco. Equally happy working on either side of a transaction, Andriy’s depth of knowledge across new and preowned yachts offers unique insight and guidance on the yacht market.
