Clive McCartney

Born and raised in Haslemere, England, Clive left school at 18 to join the Royal Navy before attending Cambridge University on a cadet scholarship. Upon rejoining the fleet, he gained his engineer certifications in steam, diesel-electric and gas turbine propulsion. His experience also included extensive deployments onboard Her Majesty's Ships – JUNO, MANCHESTER, EDINBURGH and ARGYLL.

He later came ashore for a Master of Science degree at Royal Naval Engineering College Manadon. In the late '90s, Clive moved to Fort Lauderdale and joined Renaissance Cruises, working in logistics and procurement for new ships being delivered in St. Nazaire, France.

He subsequently held management positions at Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Corporation before joining Fraser Yachts in 2004, where he was part of the yacht management team for 13 years, servicing more than 60 yachts in worldwide itineraries.

Clive joined Denison Yachting in October of 2018 as Director of Asset Management, providing professional services to yacht owners and crew. Away from the office, he focuses on spending time with his wife (Sandee), an elderly dog (Rocky), and two adult kids (they haven't earned a name check here yet), listening to music, watching sports, and reading.
