Kevin Paul

Kevin was born in St. Lucia and, as such, was given the great opportunity to grow up by the sea. This led, at a very early age, to a love of the ocean and sailing.

Since starting in professional yachting in 1992, he has worked on every type of boat, from square riggers to ultralight displacement ocean cruising yachts, as well as several motor yachts; he has been a full-time captain since 1996.

Kevin’s yachting career highlight so far has been the completion of the new construction–and subsequent running of–superyacht MYSTERE, a 43-meter Bill Tripp-designed sailing yacht built by Vitters in Holland. In seven years, he completed more than 90,000 nautical miles, taking the boat from Holland to the Mediterranean, back and forth to the Caribbean, and, during a two-year sojourn to the Pacific, to New Zealand and back, with quite a few stops on the way.

Kevin has managed extensive refits and has an excellent understanding and first-hand, practical experience of the day-to-day management, maintenance, and general upkeep required to keep a yacht looking and performing her best.

Kevin strongly believes that his 25+ years of skippering experience onboard all types of yachts give him a unique insight to be shared with clients looking to buy or sell their yachts.
