Sidney Ambroise

Born and raised in Miami, Sidney’s love for boating has truly become first nature. His extensive knowledge of mechanical systems & functions onboard yachts took shape over time during his early years in the yachting industry as a marine engineer.

In due time, Sidney began studying the fundamentals of piloting & seamanship, eventually earning himself a USCG issued Captain’s license and became Corporate Captain for Denison soon after their service department was founded. Years later, Sidney was offered a full-time position as a private Yacht Captain following the successful transaction of a Riva Motor Yacht that Denison had sold at the time.

As a Yacht Captain, Sidney’s bucket list began to fill quickly as he helmed numerous voyages throughout the Caribbean and roundtrips North and South of the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. He primarily spent his summer seasons stationed in Sag Harbor as a homeport and has navigated most of the Northeast’s most popular ports of call as a result. Sidney’s favorite yachting destinations include Block Island, Newport, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Highbourne Cay, and Marsh Harbour.

As a Yacht Captain for roughly seven years, Sidney has acquired a firm grasp on how to meet the needs of yacht owners best, administer operating costs & crew, manage yard projects, and develop effective maintenance routines to keep vessel depreciation at the bare minimum.

Having assisted numerous boat owners as a Corporate & Private Captain, Sidney is highly committed to ensuring that his clients are comfortable navigating and operating their yacht of choice and looks forward to helping owners overcome any learning curves they might endure during their ownership experience.
