This year’s Miami Boat Show will mark yacht broker, Ned Bruck’s, 25th consecutive Miami Show.
“In 1986 (pictured left) I came and worked at the Miami Boat Show. At the Convention Center I was representing the Luhrs sportfishing line at that time. There were only a handful of today’s manufacturer’s back then. Hatteras, Bertram and Viking yachts were all in the convention center and it was the first year of the Brokerage Show.”
Ned continues his thoughts on the Miami Show at Collins Avenue, “Most builders at that time didn’t want to display on Collins Avenue because all the potential buyers only knew about the display at the Convention Center. Hatteras Yachts had a few new boats at Sunset Harbor Marina in 1986. Wow, how things have changed since then! Now Collins Avenue is THE PLACE to showcase yachts.”
At this years Miami Show, Ned will be representing 2 brokerage yachts on Ramp 15 at Denison Yacht Sales display:
65′ Pacific Mariner 2002
53′ Ferretti 2001
Few yacht brokers can offer a 25-year perspective of the Miami Boat Show. Through many economic up and downs, local and national political changes, and constant updating of yacht sales laws and regulations, Ned offers a unique position as an experienced yacht broker.
