Known as “The Lobster Island”, this small private island just off Anguilla is a great lunch stop for those cruising the Caribbean by superyacht. Accessible by yacht tender or helicopter, or via the free ferry from the main island, this laid-back spot offers a simple, well-executed menu of grilled lobster, crayfish, fresh catch, chicken, ribs, or steak. Open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, the Gorgeous Scilly Cay eatery is an easy-going place to enjoy fresh seafood and a quiet afternoon or a post-snorkel feast. Beyond the beachside restaurant, the island—family-run since 1985—has little more than sand and sea grape trees. Their $5 rum punch is a local favorite and Sundays feature live music. If you’re looking for a casual, no-fuss island experience that’s still memorable, Scilly Cay is worth a visit.
