Denison Yachting is pleased to announce the delivery of IKIGAI, a 26 meter (85 foot) Horizon FD85s. Pierre Badin of Denison Yachting and Gary Hardcastle of Autograph Yacht Group jointly represented the buyer throughout the new build project, which was sold in 2025 and completed this summer.
A Semi-Custom FD85s Built for Family Cruising
IKIGAI is hull 18 in Horizon's FD85s series. Her exterior styling is by Cor D. Rover Design, and the Taiwanese shipyard developed her naval architecture and interior design in-house. Her custom details were shaped around the owner's plans for family cruising, outdoor entertaining and adventure.
Custom Features
Her boat deck has been reinforced to take a custom helipad, and a hot tub sits on the bow. Aft, a fold-down transom gives direct access to the water, and the cockpit includes storage for water toys.
On the main deck, the galley is positioned aft and connects through sliding glass doors to an outdoor dining area that seats ten. The layout lets cooking, dining and lounging flow together, which suits a yacht built around entertaining.
Accommodation
IKIGAI accommodates eight guests across four staterooms:
• Main deck: a full-beam master suite
• Below deck amidships: two VIP cabins
• Forward: a VIP cabin with a V-berth that converts to a double
Two crew cabins, including the captain's cabin, sit aft of the engine room.

From Concept to Delivery
From the first concept through delivery, the owner, his representatives and the shipyard worked closely together so each custom detail reflected his preferences and how he plans to use her. The result pairs Horizon's FD85s platform with modifications suited to the owner's lifestyle.
Congratulations to IKIGAI's owner, and thanks to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. We hope she's the start of many unforgettable experiences at sea.
