Senior superyacht executive appointed to lead Denison's next phase of global growth across the United States, Europe and the GCC

Fort Lauderdale | October 2026: Denison Yachting is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Coote as President of Denison Yachting worldwide, marking the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for one of the most established and respected names in international yachting.

Coote's appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Denison, following the completion of its strategic partnership with OceanWorld Group, which has become the majority shareholder in the company.

The partnership brings together Denison's exceptional heritage, highly regarded brand and formidable position in the United States with OceanWorld's international platform, resources and ambitions across Europe and the Middle East.

While Denison has enjoyed considerable success over many decades, predominantly in the US market, the new ownership structure signals the start of a significant new phase of international development. With the support of ambitious and well-capitalised shareholders, the company intends both to further strengthen its position in the United States and to substantially expand its presence across Europe and the GCC.

Coote will lead this global strategy, which will combine significant organic investment with a targeted acquisition programme designed to further consolidate and grow Denison's brokerage, dealership and wider yachting activities across all three key territories.

With more than 25 years of senior-level experience in the international superyacht industry, Coote brings a breadth and depth of expertise particularly suited to Denison's ambitions. Coote will focus on operational performance across all regions, driving sustainable growth, strengthening cross-regional collaboration, and upholding the highest standards of service throughout the organization.

His career has included senior leadership positions with some of the industry's most recognized businesses, including Fraser Yachts, Northrop & Johnson, the Azimut Benetti Group and Blohm+Voss. Most recently, he worked within MarineMax's Superyacht Division across all of the brands in their superyacht sector portfolio.

His experience spans yacht sales and brokerage, charter, yacht management, new-build construction and refit, together with international business development, marketing and brand strategy. This combination of extensive brokerage experience and first-hand knowledge of the superyacht construction sector provides a particularly strong foundation from which to lead Denison's next stage of growth.

Denison is one of those rare names in yachting that combines genuine heritage with enormous potential for the future. The company has built an outstanding business in the United States, an exceptional reputation among its clients and, importantly, an incredibly strong team. The opportunity now is to build on those foundations and develop Denison on a truly international scale. As we grow, our people will be at the heart of everything we do. My focus internally will be on our people just as much as our focus externally is on our clients. Denison has already created an exceptional environment for brokers, supported by some of the best tools, technology and systems in the industry. I want to build on that, ensuring our existing teams have every opportunity to succeed while making Denison an increasingly compelling destination for the very best talent in the industry. - Patrick Coote, President of Denison Yachting

The United States will remain central to Denison's strategy, with continued investment planned to further reinforce the company's established market position. At the same time, Europe and the GCC represent significant opportunities for growth, both organically and through acquisition.

A key element of this growth will be the expansion of Denison's team, with an ambitious recruitment drive planned to attract leading talent across the industry.

OceanWorld's majority investment provides a strong foundation for that expansion. Its international activities encompass yacht sales, brokerage, charter, management, crewing, manufacturing and marine services, creating significant opportunities for collaboration and growth across the enlarged group.

Patrick's appointment reflects the scale of our ambition for Denison. We have invested in a company with an exceptional heritage, an outstanding team and one of the strongest names in American yachting, but we believe the opportunity ahead is considerably greater. Patrick brings a rare breadth of international superyacht experience and is exceptionally well placed to help lead this next phase of growth. In his role, Patrick will oversee Denison's global brokerage division, driving its continued expansion, elevating performance and strengthening collaboration across key international markets. Working alongside Denison's CEO, Bryan Braley, Patrick's appointment further strengthens the company's leadership team, bringing additional strategic depth, international perspective and operational expertise, forming a powerful leadership partnership to capitalize on the significant opportunities ahead. We are committed to providing the support and resources necessary to realize the considerable potential of the Denison brand. - Lydia Pascarelli, CEO, OceanWorld Group
