Yachting Industry News: Dockwise Yacht Transport Acquired

Boskalis Holding BV said it completed its acquisition of Dockwise Yacht Transport. Boskalis is paying €18.50 per share in cash to be sole shareholder.

Boskalis initiated a compulsory acquisition of shares under Section 103 of the Bermuda Companies Act to acquire all remaining shares it did not hold. “By the expiry of the statutory deadline of April 22, 2013, none of the remaining shareholders had made any application to the Supreme Court in Bermuda to appraise the value of the shares to be acquired by the Offeror,” said the statement.

Dockwise said on 26 November 2012 that it had received an unsolicited buyout offer from Boskalis for €17.20 per share. The suitor raised its offer to €18.50 on December 21. The statement said all remaining shares would be purchase “on or about” April 26.
