Denison Yachting is pleased to announce the central agency listing of Project Freedom, a 44-meter explorer sportfish motoryacht currently under development by SES Yachts in Istanbul, Turkey. With a delivery date of 2028 and an asking price of €26,000,000, Project Freedom represents a rare opportunity to acquire a purpose-built world cruiser at the semi-custom stage, with full interior and deck configuration flexibility still available to the buyer.
Naval architecture and engineering is the work of NAMES, under the direction of Francesco Rogantin. Both exterior and interior design are by Too Design, led by Marco Casali, whose firm operates from a 16th-century castle outside Rome and integrates expertise across architecture, interior design, and automotive design. The result is a yacht with a bold, layered profile that draws equally from the sportfish and explorer traditions, built entirely in aluminum and classed RINA C + Hull Mach Y.
Open aft deck accommodates a full-size tender plus water toys — no chase boat required. Below decks, the beach club converts between fishing, diving, and lounge configurations at the owner’s direction.
Project Freedom is offered in three distinct configurations, each sharing the same hull, powertrain, and core specification.
The Fisherman version is the most open interpretation of the concept. The expansive aft deck accommodates a substantial tender plus water toys, eliminating the need for a chase boat. When cleared, the deck functions as an outdoor platform directly above the beach club below. The beach club itself is fully customizable and can be outfitted with scuba and dive storage, fishing and tackle areas, a bar, gym space, and a day head.
The Fisherman Enclosed version adds a fully enclosed upper deck lounge with a day head and direct access to a crow's nest above. This configuration draws from the tradition of large enclosed sportfish builds and is particularly well suited for bluewater big game fishing programs where weather protection and elevated visibility matter.
The Leisure version trades the open aft arrangement for a centerline pool and a side-entry tender garage. The beach club area is divided into two zones: a gym to port and a dive or watersports storage area to starboard, with a day head. The sun deck on the Leisure version features the same pool, sunpads, outdoor kitchen, and dining setup as the Fisherman flybridge configurations.

Project Freedom measures 44 meters LOA with an 8.8-meter beam and a full-load displacement of 290 tonnes. Twin Caterpillar engines rated at 2,400 hp each deliver a top speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 20 knots, and a range exceeding 4,000 nautical miles at economical speed. Active roll stabilization operates both underway and at anchor. Fuel capacity stands at 35,000 liters and fresh water capacity at 8,000 liters.
Guest accommodation is provided across five staterooms, including an on-deck owner's suite, two VIP cabins, and two guest cabins, with a six-cabin layout available upon request. Crew quarters accommodate a captain plus three crew. The main deck galley is commercial-grade and opens to the salon for easy service. The sky lounge on the upper deck includes a full bar, pantry, day head, and captain's quarters.
At 399 gross tons, Project Freedom carries substantial volume for a vessel in this size range. Construction is ready to begin.
