Horizon Yachts Launching Another P130 Trideck Megayacht

The latest megayacht in the Horizon Yachts P130 line is nearing completion and is expected to launch by then end of May 2011. Horizon’s latest trideck yacht, Angara, will initially meet her owners in Malta where she will start cruising the Mediterranean. She will be the 5th P130 Tri-deck launched by Horizon Yachts.

Angara topped out at 16.5 knots on trials under full loads on her Caterpillar C32A engines (1,800hp). While cruising at a comfortable 12 knots, total fuel consumption with her twin 86kW generators is less than 230 liters per hour. Her seaworthiness and performance was confirmed at the completion of her continuous 24-hour open ocean sea trial on April 30, 2011.

Angara is expected to make her public debut in Monaco in late June for the annual Rendezvous.
