Ferretti Yachts Introduces 96′ Motoryacht, New Flagship Yacht

Ferretti Yachts introduced the Ferretti 960, its new flagship boat and the largest planing boat in its Italian fleet of motoryachts.

The new vessel is the result of a collaboration among Studio Zuccon International Project, which designs Ferretti Yachts’ entire range, Advanced Yacht Technology and Design, and Ferretti’s team of engineers, architects and designers and preserves the hull design of the previous flagship, the Ferretti 881.

The 96′ fiberglass yacht is in the C.E. design category and can be managed without a professional captain. Its master cabin is on the main foredeck and as many as four guest cabins are on the lower deck. It also features three crew cabins with reserved access from the galley.

It offers alternatives in the layout to meet the needs of various international markets, the company said in a statement.

The design of the planing hull contributes to a “lighter profile,” the company said. The flybridge can be accessed via a cockpit staircase and from the helm station on the mezzanine floor. The outdoor areas on the upper deck are larger than on previous models because of the possibility of storing a tender in a garage beneath the cockpit.
