Bertram Yachts Builds New 39′ Center Console [Shipyard Tour]

July 1, 2020 3:40 pm

Denison yacht brokers toured the Bertram shipyard in Tampa, Florida for an inside look at the production process of upcoming releases.

With new releases just around the corner, the Bertram yard continues to impress with their new builds. The Denison Yachting West Palm Beach team toured the Bertram shipyard in Tampa, Florida, where new builds were in production.

Perhaps most exciting is the 39′ center console, which came out of the mold on Thursday while Denison toured the shipyard. Bertram aims to launch this center console yacht at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, where boat show attendees will be able to board the boat and see why she is ideal for sportfishers. With a generous 13’2″ beam, extra large live wells, and 3 outboard motors, she will run quieter and more efficiently than boats her size.

“I am overly impressed with Bertram’s ability to integrate hard core fishing with cruising. And on top of that, Bertram has the best warranty in all categories: a 10 year hull warranty, and even an upholstery warranty which is unheard of.”

In addition to the 39, the team also saw Hull #2 of the Bertram 61, a sportfish yacht which features a 3 stateroom, 3 head layout. The 61 is a reimagined version of the 1980’s iconic 54 Bertram. See our full walkthrough of the Bertram 61 on our youtube channel.

After touring the boats in production, the team spent the day on the water for a demo of the 61 and the Bertram 50 express, another yacht which made her debut this year at the Miami Boat Show. She features a 178 square foot cockpit and is another excellent option for sportfishers, designed for the family focused owner.
