Turkish shipyard Aegean Yacht has revealed the first renderings of its Project Tempest, currently under construction on speculation and exclusively for sale with Pierre Badin of Denison Yachting.

The 37.3-metre model is the revival of the Tigershark series by Riza Tansu and is set to be completed in June 2025. It bears Tansu’s signature design stamp with a stealthy exterior and a “beach house style” interior, seen on models such as S7 and Preference 19.

Exterior features of note include an open aft deck “play area” that can accommodate two large tenders when underway. With the tenders launched—via port and starboard cranes—the space becomes a vast sun lounge and entertainment space with a sheltered lounge area towards the main saloon, protected by the overhang of the sun deck above. Here, guests will find a large central bar and al fresco dining table for ten, with sun loungers aft and removable awnings.

Forward is a third exterior lounge at the bow with an oversized sun pad and a spa pool recessed into the deck.

Accommodation is for 10 guests across five en suite cabins with a full-beam master suite on the main deck, two VIP cabins and two twins, with further provision for a crew of seven. The interior is fully floated, which means noise and vibrations are heavily reduced for guest comfort.

Project Tempest will have a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with naval architecture by Endaze. Power is provided by twin MAN LE469 1325hp engines, with zero-speed stabilisers working underway and at anchor.

There are at least two other Tansu projects underway at Aegean Yacht, including the 37.7-metre Project Vortex, which has been commissioned by an experienced client, and the 40-metre Project T-Rex, which is being built on speculation.
