Terry Canada Hass

Terry Canada-Haas was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, within a close-knit Portuguese community. After earning a two-year diploma in Executive Administration, she worked as an Executive Assistant at a financial institution—but soon found herself craving more than the 9-to-5 routine. Driven by a desire for adventure and travel, she set sail into the dynamic world of yachting.

Her career began aboard the 204' Feadship VIRGINIAN in New York City, and from that point on, she never looked back. Over the next decade, Terry built an impressive resume as a Stewardess and Chief Stewardess aboard busy 50m+ charter yachts, exploring stunning destinations around the world.

After years at sea, she transitioned ashore, married, and started a family. She brought her industry knowledge to Crew Unlimited as a Senior Placement Coordinator, specializing in captain, engineer, and officer recruitment, and later expanded into yacht management.

Now part of the Denison team, Terry brings over 20 years of combined onboard and shore-based experience. Her deep understanding of both crew dynamics and owner expectations makes her a valuable asset to clients and colleagues alike.
