ADESA is an 84’ (25.65m) aluminum cruising sloop built by Fitzroy Yachts in New Zealand, with naval architecture by Judel & Vrolijk and interior design by Dick Young. Designed for an experienced owner and long-distance blue-water cruising, she features high topsides, a sheltered pilothouse, and quiet, insulated interiors.
ADESA can be operated by a crew of 3 to 4 and has been continuously upgraded by her current owner, including a major 2017–2018 refit with a full repaint, new teak decks, rod rigging, and system upgrades. In 2023, her mast was un-stepped for a full rig check. Sailing equipment includes a Southern Spars carbon mast and boom, rod rigging, hydraulic headsail furlers, and an in-boom furling mainsail. The warm wood interior includes a spacious main salon, comfortable seating areas, and a ventilated pilothouse with inside steering. The galley is forward and includes ample workspace, a large hatch, and separate crew access.
Guest accommodations include three staterooms for seven: a full-beam master with ensuite, a twin cabin with Pullman, and a double with upper and lower berths. Crew quarters sleep up to four.
